Martha Gonzales Almaguer

Graveside services for Martha Gonzales Almaguer, 65, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Brownfield Cemetery with Elder Luis Salgado and Rev. Plutarco Garcia officiating. Services will be under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Martha passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Brownfield. She was born October 14, 1945 in El Paso, Texas to Demetrio and Angelina T. Gonzales. She attended Bowie High School in El Paso. She moved to Brownfield in 2004. She was a loving mother who cared for her family and friends, always positive and a very good councilor. She participated in the American Cancer Society fund raisers. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church. Martha is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ramon Gonzales and Demetrio Gonzales; a sister,Carmen Nevarez.

Martha is survived by her children, Martin Almaguer, Javier Almaguer and Angelina Terry and husband Kelly all of Brownfield; 2 sisters, Margarita Fernandez and husband Arturo of Las Cruces and Teresa Miranda and husband Victor of El Paso; 4 nieces, Emma Gonzales of El Paso, Cecilia Martinez of Granbury, Zulema Delarosa and husband Omar of El Paso and Brisa Miranda and husband Hugo of El Paso.
