Mary Beasley

Mary was born on July 22, 1923 to Arnold and Gladys (Ledford) Copeland in Spur, TX. She met the love of her life, Davis “Son” Beasley, at a football game in Ropes. They married in Brownfield on August 13, 1942 and had 59 wonderful years together. They farmed in Terry County and Mary is described by her family as being a loving mother and talented homemaker.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Robbie Beasley; 2 great-granddaughters, Adisyn Calfin and Christen Terry; her parents; and her brother, Bill Copeland. She is survived by 2 daughters, Bobbie Terry (Royce) of Meadow and Linda Sharp (David) of Dennison; a son, Mike Beasley (Marci) of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
