Matthew Emigdio Joseph Mendez

Services for Matthew Emigdio Joseph Mendez, 21, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Brownfield First United Methodist Church with Ruby Moultrie officiating. Burial will be at Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel.

Matthew passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emigdio and Lidia Almuina and Guadalupe and Sara Mendez.

Matthew was born on December 18, 1992 to Aurelio and Rosa Mendez in Levelland. He attended Brownfield High School and graduated in 2011. He enjoyed all sports. Matthew loved being with his family and friends especially his niece Lexie. He was employed by Venture Chemical.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Aurelio and Rosa Mendez of Brownfield; brother, Chris Mendez of Brownfield; niece, Lexie Mendez of Brownfield.
