Funeral Services for Michael Alaniz Garcia will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Michael was born on June 23, 1975, in Brownfield, TX. He passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 49.

Michael was a one-of-a-kind individual, known for his unwavering love for animals and his daring spirit. He nurtured not only his family but also an array of cherished pets, including his delightful "platinum" poodle, Junior, a colorful parrot named Rosie, and a lively group of chickens. His home was a refuge filled with laughter, joy, and the warmth of his unique bond with his furry and feathered companions.

Above all else, Michael's devotion to his family was unparalleled. He consistently put his loved ones first, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. He was never alone. He had countless friends who were always willing to be by his side.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Alaniz Garcia; his brother, Robert Garcia; niece, Victoria Arriaga; and his dog, Peanut. He is survived by his significant other, Becky; three sisters, Ofelia Davis (Jeff), Rosemary Ayala (Miguel), Rachel Cornett (Evan); three children, Steven Garcia, Sabra Garcia, and Brandon Gage Gonzalez; eight grandchildren, Steven Jr., Jaden, Alizae, Mia, Liam, Levi, Luca, and Lance; ten nieces and nephews, Sadie Arriaga, Haley Arriaga, Jeffrey Davis, Devin Muñoz, Darian Muñoz, Zachary Muñoz, Lily Garcia, Christopher Muñoz, Natalee Muñoz, and Robert Garcia Jr.; and his great-niece and great-nephew, Raylen and Anthony Ledezma.
