Michael Wayne Scott

Michael Wayne Scott, 60, was called home to the Lord on Dec. 27, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownfield, Texas, to J.W. (Bozo) Scott and Cynthia Stephens. A loving and supportive father, grandfather, husband, brother, son and friend, Michael was a rock to those he loved. His quick wit, sharp humor and indelible charm could bring laughter and joy to any occasion.

Michael is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rhonda Scott; his two children, Brian Scott and wife Krista, and Kimberly Welch and husband Tim; three grandchildren, Kynzie, Bryce and Bowen; his mother, Cynthia Scott; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with viewing from 3-5 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
