She met and married J.W. Young on December 21, 1947. They raised 5 children on the family farm in the Pool Community, where they lived for many years. Mozelle was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a well-respected leader in the small community of Pool. She served as a Boy Scout troop leader and was active with the Terry County Home Demonstration organization. She was a faithful and active member of the Meadow Methodist Church for many years. She also served as a class room-mother many times.

She was the "Best Biscuit Maker" in Texas, according to those who have eaten them. She delivered Meals on Wheels and was also a devoted care giver for many-many years. She was a very hard worker, loved to laugh, and have a good time with family and friends, even strangers. She loved her family BIG and always made everyone know how special they were. She was truly a loving, caring, and giving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
One thing Mozelle really wanted was for her grandkids and great-grandkids to know the importance of living a clean life and ALWAYS having Christ in their lives.
She will be greatly missed!
