Myrna passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Bauchanan Dam. She was born August 24, 1943 in Brownfield to Virgil and Jessie Ozell Prather. She attended Southwestern College in San Diego, California and studied home interior design. She met the love of her life the day he opened the back door of her car on the Coronado Ferry and jumped in. Soon after they married at Chulavista, CA and began their lifelong adventure. While being a military spouse with her husband in the Navy for 30 years, she traveled with her family to Hawaii, California, Washington, New Mexico, and Texas. She loved to sew, cook, dance, and play games. She was a second mom to all her childrens friends and always made them feel welcome in her home. She could whip up a batch of homemade biscuits and gravy in a heartbeat and feed the whole block without batting an eyelash. She was strong, caring, loving, and had the warmest smile. She taught her family to love unconditionally and to see the good in the world around them.
