Memorial Service for Norman Leo Caswell, 86, of Meadow will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Meadow Church of Christ with Bob DuPont officiating. A graveside service will precede the memorial service at 1:00 pm at Meadow Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Norman passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Raider Ranch in Lubbock, TX. He was born March 13, 1929 to Charlie and Bessie May Caswell in Hollis, OK. He was one of 15 siblings. Norman was a lifelong farmer and rancher in the West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico region. He married Dorothy Decker on November 5, 1946 in Brownfield and they had 62 wonderful years together before her passing in 2008. He was a loving husband who helped care for Dorothy through the many years of her struggle with M.S. He later married Joyce Qualls Norman, also of Meadow, in 2010, and they had nearly 6 years of singing to one another and enjoying each other’s company.
Norman was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Caswell and one son, Barry Norman Caswell. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; 2 sons, Monty Caswell and his wife, Anna Jean of Lubbock, and Lanny Caswell of Lubbock; a sister, Auvanell Parrish of Brownfield; 2 brothers, O’lane Caswell of Brownfield and Neal Caswell of Muleshoe; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
