Olon "O.E." Edward Floyd Jr.

Olon "O.E." Edward Floyd, Jr, 87, of Brownfield went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022, at his home. He was born on December 7, 1934, to Olon Edward Floyd, Sr. and Ramelia Inez Floyd in Brownfield. He graduated from Brownfield High School. He was a hard worker like his dad, which led him to owning and operating Floyd Trucking.

O.E. loved to sing gospel and sang with the Sweet Spirit Singers at Calvary Baptist Church. He liked joking and did not have to know a person long before giving them a nickname. His first love was horses. He had a good relationship with his nieces and nephews.

O.E. was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Floyd; his parents, Olon Edward Floyd, Sr. and Inez Floyd and a brother, Cletus Edward Floyd. He is survived by his sister, Frances Johnson of Brownfield; sisters-in-law, Juanita Parsons of Kyle and Barbara Lawson of Wolfforth and numerous nieces and nephews.
