Oneida Collier, 87, of Brownfield passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Brownfield.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Bob Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Oneida was born on June 14, 1922 in Brownfield to Jasper and Osie Proctor. She attended schools in Brownfield. She married Pate F. Collier on October 5, 1946 in Brownfield. Together they owned and operated Pate's Mobile Service Station. She was a lifelong member of Brownfield Church of Christ.
Oneida is survived by her husband Pate Collier of Brownfield; her son, Coleman Collier and his wife Cheryl of Krugerville; her daughter, Claudette Schultz of Brownfield; 3 grandchildren, Derrick Toon, Camron Collier and Cody Lee Collier and 3 great granchildren, Hart Daniel Collier, Cerin Lynne Collier and Payton Ray Collier.
