Ora Pearl Jones

Funeral service for Ora Pearl Jones will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 17, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Seaton officiating.

Pearl Jones, 91, passed away peacefully in her home in Brownfield Tx on June 15, 2022. She was born June 4, 1931, in Floresville Tx to Bill and Nettie Quinney. She married D.L. Jones on January 10, 1953, in Brownfield Tx. She worked for Brownfield School District for 27 years.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, J.O. Quinney, Jesse Quinney, Tommy Quinney, Ira Quinney and Roy Quinney; three sisters, Hazel Short, Viola Martin and Carolyn Jarrell.

Pearl is survived by her daughters Brenda Snyder and husband Larry, and Glenda Freeman and husband Leon all of Brownfield, Tx; five grandchildren: Sabrina Bandy and husband Heath of Brownfield Tx, Shannen Hunt and husband Jacob of Nocona, Tx, Amber James and husband Lance of Lakehills Tx, TJ Snyder and wife Christine of Lufkin Tx, and Zach Freeman of Brownfield Tx; nine great-grandkids: Carley Stephenson, Bradley Bandy and wife Shiann, Bailey Richards, Taylor Gomez and husband Bryan, Caden Liles, Gavyn Freeman, Madi Castro, Case Adams and Braylee James; five great-great-grandkids: Paisley Culverhouse, Kinsley Sinkule, Emma Salinas, Bodhi Bovkoon and Wyatt Bandy; a brother Earnest Quinney and his wife Linda of Delight, AR and a sister Adell McElroy and husband Max of Brownfield, Tx; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for effortlessly taking care of her family, seeing to every need unselfishly, and for her unconditional love. Oh, how she will be truly missed.
