Services for Paula Crabtree Lancaster, 63, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Monday, January 10, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be in Nevel Cemetery in Tahoka under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5-7pm on Sunday.
Paula passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in a Lubbock Hospital. She was born November 10, 1947 to Earl and Ruby Lurene George. She graduated from Brownfield High School. She then attended South Plains College and Hendricks Nursing School. Paula married Ronnie Lancaster in Brownfield in 2002. She worked as an Registered Nurse for over 25 years. She was a member of the American Nurses Association and Church Choir. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Paula is preceded in death by her parents; several aunts and uncles.
Paula is survived by her husband Ronnie of Brownfield; 2 sons, Stephen Brent Crabtree and wife Racheal of Nacogdoches and Ronnie Chad Crabtree and life partner Jerry White of Denham Springs, LA.; a stepson, Dusty Lancaster of Brownfield; 5 grandchildren, Abby Lauren Crabtree, Kenzie Nichole Crabtree, Dalton Gene Thumann, Meagan Danielle Thumann and Chandler Elaine Thumann; 3 sisters,
Diann Hunter and husband Darrell of McAllister, Okla., Sharon Ray and husband Fred of Odessa and Rachele George of Brownfield; a brother, Robert George of Big Spring; stepfather, Clarence Casebeer; several nieces and nephews; her beloved dogs, Molly and Marcus.
