Services for Pauleta Sue Stroup, 77, of Brownfield will be 10 am Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Pauleta was born October 15, 1935 To Paul and Lorene (Hoggard)Gracey in Brownfield. She graduated from Union High School and then attended Abilene Christian University where she received her B.A. in education. Pauleta married John Glenn Stroup in Brownfield July 1, 1960. She was a member of the Brownfield Church of Christ. Pauletta is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lorene Gracey, and her husband, John Glenn Stroup.
Pauleta is survived by two sons, Steve Stroup and wife, Tracey, of Alvarado, Kelvin Stroup and wife, Mickey, of Denton; granddaughter, Ashley Stroup of Lubbock; great-granddaughter Laila Garcia, two sisters, Judy Miller and husband Wayne, of Georgetown, and Trudy Mosley and husband Ronnie of Abilene.
