Funeral Service for Pedro “Pete” Vidales will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, with burial following in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Brownfield Funeral Home, with Rosary at 6:00 pm.
Pete was born on August 24, 1963, to Ysabel and Lucinda Zarate Vidales in Lamesa, TX. He passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 61. Pete was a proud husband to his devoted wife, Diana, and they spent 38 wonderful years together.
Pete, a dedicated carpenter, found solace and joy in creating beautiful pieces with his hands. His craftsmanship was a reflection of his hardworking nature - a trait admired by all who knew him. With a warm and inviting personality, Pete built countless friendships throughout his life, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to call him a friend.
One of Pete's greatest joys was riding motorcycles, feeling the wind and the freedom of the open road. He also cherished traveling to spend time with his children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories with each visit.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Ysabel and Lucinda Vidales; and siblings, Manuel Vidales, Santos Vidales, Gloria Grimaldo and Corina Zepeda. He is survived by his wife, Diana Vidales; children, Pete Anthony Vidales and wife Evelyn, Molly Martinez and husband Anthony, and Christopher Vidales and wife Jessamyn; grandchildren, David Martinez, Madalyn Martinez, Ezequiel Vidales, Emily Vidales, and Astraea Vidales; and siblings, Erimina Escareno, Lucy Constante, Joe Vidales, Josie Vidales, Maggie Vasquez, Lala Acevedo, and Richard Vidales.
