Reynaldo Quesada, Jr., a beloved member of the Brownfield community, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023, in Lubbock at the age of 52. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Born on July 23, 1970, in Brownfield to Reynaldo Quesada, Sr. and Elva Quesada. As a true sports enthusiast, Reynaldo had a passion for playing softball and was known for his impressive skills on the field. He cherished the camaraderie he found while playing alongside his teammates. In addition to being an avid participant, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the Cowboys and Rangers. The excitement of football and baseball games brought him immense joy and provided him with countless memorable moments.
Reynaldo is survived by his father, Reynaldo Quesada, Sr.; mother and stepfather, Elva Quesada and Carlos Quesada, Sr.; son, Johnathan Quesada; brothers, Johnny Quesada, Joe Luis Quesada, Carlos Quesada, Jr.; sisters Cindy Gomez, Terri Ortega, Michelle Quesada, Peggy Reed; stepsisters, Teresa and Minerva; 11 nieces; and 7 nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Pastor Daniel Bernal officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. There will be a viewing from 10 am to 8 pm and a prayer service held from 7 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Primera Iglesia Bautista.
