Memorial services for Dick Wilson, 83, of Brownfield will be at 11am, Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
Dick passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 in Brownfield. He was born February 27, 1927 in Sand Fork, West Virginia to Lawrence E. and Mabel Wilson. Dick graduated from Pullman High School and received his B. S. degree in Agriculture from West Virginia University in Morgantown. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran spending time in Panama. Dick married Patricia Ann Metz on July 6, 1953 in Mannington, West Virginia. He was a Master Sales Representative for American Cyanamid Company. He received “The Master sales Rep Award “given at their annual National Meeting. This being one of the most prestigious awards from their company.
Dick is survived by his wife, Patricia; 2 sons, Richard Clayton Wilson, Jr. and his wife Katie and Gregory Carl Wilson and his wife Lillie; 7 grandchildren, Robert Wilson, Catherine Ann Wilson, Jennifer Wilson Bennett , Robert Louis Salas, Rachel Renee’ Wilson, Brittni Marie Wilson and Beth Anne Wilson; 9 great grandchildren, Britney Wilson, Donte Flournoy, Blake McClure, Robert Wilson, Jr., Ronnie Jaden Wilson, Kiya Katy Wilson, Zoie Wilson, Preston Flournoy and Rebecca Louise Salas; a brother, David Wilson.
