Robert Dwayne Neal

Services for Robert Dwayne Neal, 71, of Brownfield, will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the First Baptist Chapel in Brownfield. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Dwayne passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, at home. He was born May 16, 1946, in Brownfield to D.O. "Shorty" and Jean Baggett Neal. He graduated from Brownfield High School in 1964. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1970. Directly after graduating from TTU he moved to California where he worked in elevator repairs until he moved back to Brownfield in 1989. Dwayne is preceded in death by his father "Shorty" Neal and sister Ann Willis.
He is survived by his mother Jean Neal, brother Allen Neal and wife Lorene, brother-in-law, Kenneth Willis, 2 nephews, Kevin Willis and Keith Blackburn, 3 nieces, Kendra Willis Cabrera and husband Emilio, Sheryl Shifman and husband Rich, Darla Rouiller and husband Dean, 7 grand nephews, Kylen, Korey, Andrew, Anthony, Eric, Ryan, and Diver, 7 grand nieces, Lexi, Kaley, Cynthia, MIkayla, Bella, Kristin, and Daylee, and 1 great, great nephew, Kellan. Dwayne was a kind and gentle soul who is much loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
