Ruben Holguin

Services for Ruben Holguin, 55, of San Angelo and formerly of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Heriberto Mercado officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Prayer service will be from 6-8pm at Brownfield Funeral Home on Tuesday evening.

Ruben passed away in San Angelo on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was born on November 8, 1958 in Brownfield to Esidoro and Agripina (Diaz) Holguin. He graduated from Brownfield High School. He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Raymundo Holguin and Ramon Holguin.

Ruben was a character who made everyone around him laugh. He was such a loving and caring person. “We love you.”

Ruben is survived by his mother, Agripina Holguin of Ft. Worth; brothers and sisters, Toby Constancio of Lubbock, Alicia Villareal of Keller, Elodia Gonzales of Hurst, Lydia Gomez of Bakersfield, CA, George Holguin of Brownfield, Julian Holguin of Lubbock, Margie Vasquez of Sherman, Diana Bradley of Ft. Worth, Esidoro Holguin of San Angelo, Roy Holguin of Wichita Falls, Elizabeth Perez of Flower Mound and Danny Holguin of Lubbock.
