Funeral Services for Ruben Morin, Jr, 63, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Daniel Loera officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Ruben was born on September 8, 1959 in Karnes City to Ruben and Olivia Morin. He married Katherine Sepeda on August 14, 1978 in Brownfield and had recently renewed their vows. He worked in the oil field industry. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed working outdoors. Ruben loved his wife, children and grandchildren and enjoyed attending his grandsons’ football and baseball games. He was very well known because of his love for people and the ability to build friendships everywhere he went.  Ruben enjoyed fishing, casinos, barbequing and watching westerns and Netflix. Ruben was a very loving and caring person and will be missed by all that knew him.

Ruben is survived by his wife, Katherine Morin; daughter, Monica Davila; son, Michael Morin and wife Alaina; grandchildren, Mirium Rodriguez and husband Matthew, Xavier Franco, Nicholas N. Davila, Faith Davila, Anika Davila, Angelina Davila, Marius Morin and Aaralyn Morin; great grandchild, Natalynn Rodriguez; father, Ruben Morin, Sr., mother, Olivia Lane; sister, Norma Morin and brothers, Jesse Morin and James Morin.
