Ruby O. Watson , age 94, died on June 11, 2010 at Sulphur Springs, TX. Her funeral service will be at 11am, Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Ruby was born January 7, 1916 to Charles Emery Snider and Arvie Annie Snider in Peacock, TX. She married Homer B. Dial in 1932 in Jayton, TX and they moved to Brownfield in the mid 30's.
Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church, Brownfield, TX. She worked for 20 years at Deluxe Cleaners and managed Rudy Watson Plumbing Company for 15 years. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Arvie Snider, her daughter Anna Lee Dial, a husband, Homer B. Dial, a husband William (Bill) Sharp, a husband, Rudy Q. Watson.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruby Dial Preston and her husband David of Amarillo, TX, a daughter Peggy Dial Watkins and her husband Clyde of Emory, TX, a grandson, Jared Preston of Plano, TX, and two great granddaughters, Kiana Preston and Alyssa Preston.
