Samuel was a proud graduate of Brownfield High School, where he completed his studies in 1968. Shortly after, he dedicated himself to serving his country by joining the United States Army in 1969. As a Private during the Vietnam War, Samuel exhibited incredible courage and resilience until his honorable discharge in 1974. In addition to his service, Samuel will be remembered by his family for his fun-loving and caring personality, which brightened every gathering. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone in the room laugh. Samuel particularly loved cowboy movies, especially those starring Chuck Norris, and nothing brought him more joy than savoring beef fajitas paired with his favorite margaritas.
