Sybil Mae Emery

Services for Sybil Emery, 78, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Dale Matlock officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9am-1pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Sybil was born on February 25, 1938 in Waldron, Arkansas to Thomas and Agnus Emery. She moved to Brownfield in 1949 and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and working in the yard. Sybil was loved by her family and friends. She worked as a provider for home health and also babysat a lot of children through the years. Sybil is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lloyd Emery and a sister, Inez.

Sybil is survived by her 9 children, Randy, Carol, Tammy, Elaine, Curtis, Tommy, Tony, Tonya and Tina; 26 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 4 sisters, Cora, Lois, Ruby and Lana and a brother, David.
