Sylvia Serbantez

Sylvia Morin Serbantez, 68, passed away November 25, 2021, surrounded by her family. A private Graveside Memorial Service will be held at a future date.

Sylvia was born on December 27, 1952 to Felix Guerra and Anita (Garcia) Morin in Brownfield, TX. Sylvia was a lifelong resident of Brownfield. She was a dedicated Cub - she worked for Brownfield ISD as a bus driver for 38 years. Sylvia was very independent and always put other's well-being before her own. She set a great example of working hard for her family. She was loving and caring and had a great sense of humor. Her family describes her as "the best grandma and mom!" She will forever be in our hearts and missed! Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gillermo Willie Serbantez, Sr., her son, Romulo Madrigal, and her sister, Dora Luz Perez.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Becky Ann Morin and Leticia Ann Alvarado; 2 sons, Gillermo Willie Serbantez, Jr. and Michael Jonathan Madrigal; 3 brothers, Lucas Morin (Ruth), Gilbert Morin (Sylvia), and Richard Morin; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
