Tonya Marie Jackson

Tonya Marie Jackson passed away on April 1, 2024, in Brownfield, TX at the age of 59. She was born on January 3, 1965, to Lane William and Sandra Joyce (Beaver) DePriest in Rugby, ND. She later moved to Duluth, MN, and then relocated to Seattle, WA to spend time with her parents, Sandra and Bill Trulock.

Tonya met her beloved husband, Ralph Jackson, while working in Seattle, and they shared nearly 28 years together. Described by Ralph as his "life partner," Tonya was a remarkable individual with a warm personality, sharp intellect, and a wonderful sense of humor. Ralph often referred to her as "gorgeous," a sentiment that resonated with all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Tonya found joy in cooking and was renowned for her delectable bread and cakes, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to sample her creations. Additionally, she dedicated her time to caring for her cherished granddaughter, Ad'niyah DePriest, for the past 15 years.

Tonya is proceeded in death by her dad, Lane DePriest; 2 sisters, Tanya Kiel and Tara Klebe. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Jackson; mom Sandra Trulock and her "adopted" dad, Bill; a sister, Tamra Hulquist; 3 sons, Matthew Cypers, Chris Cypers and Miles Leraann; 2 daughters, Alicia Cypers, Amber DePriest; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Tonya’s family will celebrate her life with a memorial service at a later date.
