Treva D'Loy Boen

Graveside Service for Treva D'Loy Boen will be held at 11am Friday, May 27, 2022 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.

Treva was born on October 26, 1935 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Loyd and Bertha Deaton. She moved to the Brownfield community in September of 1970. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Treva enjoyed camping in the mountains and square dancing. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. Treva worked for Energas and enjoyed spending her lunch breaks with her grandchildren. She always shared a coke and sugar cubes with them creating beautiful memories for each of them.

Treva was a wonderful cook and loved baking and cooking for the holidays. She was a thoughtful person and this showed through her desire to bake birthday cakes for family and friends.

Treva was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Smyers and Danny Boen; son, Lonnie Smyers and parents, Loyd and Bertha Deaton.

Treva is survived by her son, Terry Smyers and wife Neisha and daughter-in-law, Gloria Smyers; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a brother, Ray Deaton and wife Lola.
