Veronica "Ronnie" Gallegos

Funeral Service for Veronica “Ronnie” Gallegos, of Long Beach, CA, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, February 6 & 7, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home, with Rosary at 6:00 pm both days.

Ronnie was born on April 17, 1979, to Silvestre Gallegos and Bertha Infante in Brownfield, TX. She was a sleep therapy technician for over 25 years, and for the past 8 years, she was at Tibor Ruben VA Hospital in Long Beach, where she made many great friends. She passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 45.

Ronnie touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her with her infectious laughter and vibrant spirit. She was a ray of sunshine, known for her ability to light up any room upon her arrival. 

Ronnie’s laughter was not just a sound; it was a melody that brought joy and comfort to many. She approached life with enthusiasm and ensured that those around her shared in the beauty of every moment. Her warm presence will be profoundly missed by family, friends, and the countless acquaintances whose lives she brightened.

Ronnie is preceded in death by her father, Silvestre Gallegos; grandparents, Raymond and Delia Hernandez, and Benito and Josephina Gallegos. She is survived by her mother, Bertha Infante; sister, Monica Pauda; brother, Sylvester Gallegos, Jr.; nieces, M’Kayla Pauda and Mia Pauda; and nephews, Antonio Pauda and wife Zandria, and Joaquin Pauda; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins; and her fiancé, Angel Funes.
