Vicki Anne Barnes ,58, of Brownfield, passed away in Lubbock on November 1, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 3pm.
Vicki was born in Brownfield on March 13, 1953 to Daniel and Victoria Minshew. She graduated from West Lamar. Vicki married Larry Barnes on October 9, 1971 in Petty. She graduated in 1982 from Paris Junior College with a Nursing Degree. Vicki was an L.V.N. for BRMC RUDD unit for 3 years.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kimball Criag Minshew.
Vicki is survived by her; husband, Larry Barnes of Brownfield, a son, Erick Barnes of Littlefield, brother, Vernon Dan Minshew of Brookston, first cousins, Lee and Dewey Carpenter of Slaton, Carol Carpenter of Slaton and close relatives include the Martinez Family.
