William Leroy Jones

Funeral services for William Leroy Jones will be held at 2 pm Friday, October 19, 2018, at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.
There will be a family visitation on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Leroy passed away Friday, October 12, 2018, in Lubbock. He was born on April 23, 1929, in Oswego, KS to William Wayne and Bertha (Hall) Jones. He graduated from Oswego High School. Leroy served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a B-29 gunner. He was a member of the Brownfield First Baptist Church. Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Bertha Jones, two wives, Hazel Marie (Baker) Jones, Sallie Marie (Holly) Jones, two brothers, Marvin Jones, Leon Jones, and sister, Pamala Stammer.
Leroy is survived by four children, William Kelly Jones, Teresa Norris and husband Tommy, Robert Louis Short, James Victor Short; eight grandchildren, William Leif Jones, Eric Ian Jones, Sean Thomas Jones, William Gunner Jones, Shannon Short, Anthony Short, Nicole Short, Clarice Short; brother, Larry Dale Jones; three sisters, Barbara Markman, Alice Fisher, and Vickie Callus.
