I was born and raised in Dumas, Tx. After graduating from Dumas High School, I served in the United States Army for three years. After my enlistment in the Army I attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Service where I met the love of my life, Tina. We moved to Brownfield and I began serving the community on March 17th, 2008 here at Brownfield Funeral Home with Bob and Jacalyn Jones. On June 1, 2014 Bob and Jacalyn allowed us the privilege of purchasing the funeral home and continuing to serve the community that we have grown to love. Tina and I have a great love of God and are blessed to serve him. God has blessed us with four wonderful children, Danielle, Gage, Blake and Aspyn.
I was born and raised in Arkansas and moved to Texas in 1998. I worked for Carter BloodCare for 11 years before attending Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, where I met my wonderful husband, Gary. In March of 2008, Gary was offered an opportunity to work for Bob and Jacalyn Jones at Brownfield Funeral Home. Gary, our four children and I moved from Dallas to the loving community of Brownfield. In 2010 I was offered a position to work alongside my husband as a funeral director/embalmer and four short years later on June 1, 2014 we were blessed with the privilege of not only purchasing the funeral home but the continuation of service to the Brownfield community. We will continue to serve the Lord and his ministry at Brownfield Funeral Home by providing love, care and support to our community during their time of loss and grief.
Lisa serves as one of our Licensed Funeral Directors. She has a special way of bringing comfort and compassion to our grieving families and truly sees her job as a ministry. In 2015, Lisa graduated in the top of her class from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. She and her husband Chris presently live in Plains, Texas, and are members of First Baptist Church there.
Bio coming soon.
I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and was raised in the loving but small community of Union, Texas. I attended Union School and that is where I met my high school sweetheart and husband, Ruben Vasquez. We have two beautiful and amazing children; Gerald and Chelsea. I've always had a love for flower arranging and decorating, so I found working at Brownfield Floral a dream come true for many years. However, I strongly believe the Lord guided me to Brownfield Funeral Home where I am the Office Administrator and a Pre-Need Specialist. I am so honored to be working here. This is the most difficult time for families and I want to be here to comfort and do what I can to make this time a little easier.
Chris is our Personal Care Associate and on-call chaplain/minister. He is a long-time resident of the Brownfield area. Chris received his ministerial ordination in 1987 and pastored churches in Georgia and Texas for almost 25 years before entering chaplain ministry in 2011. He and his wife Lisa presently live in Plains, Texas, and are members of First Baptist Church there. They are both experienced musicians and provide music for funeral services as needed.
I was born December 26, 2007 in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Brownfield in March of 2008. I started helping my parents serve our community in October of 2021. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and I'm especially thankful that I have the opportunity to work beside and learn from my awesome parents as we help people in their time of need.
I was born on a ranch, several miles south of Tokio, Texas. I lived in different cities all over Texas, then moved to California, where I met my husband. We moved back to Brownfield in 1970 and finally settled down. I worked at Terry County Farm Bureau, then BJ Services for 20 years. I have worked at the Brownfield Funeral Home since 2007 as a Visitation Attendant/Receptionist and I also serve as the Director of Brownfield Senior Citizens Center. I have one daughter, DeeDee Charlebois, that is employed at Brownfield Federal Credit Union. I am a member of First Baptist Church, on the Friends of the Library Board, and am an active quilter.
I was born and raised here in Brownfield. After graduating high school I moved to Dallas where I cleared freight through US Customs for 15 years. Life then led me to Chattanooga, Tennesse, where I worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN for 10 years. I then decided to move back home to Brownfield and have helped deliver meals at the Brownfield Senior Center since 2018.
I was born and raised in Lake Station, Indiana. After graduating from Adison High School I attended Campbellsville University in Kentucky. I earned a B.A. in Christian studies. I was employed for Amoco/Oxy for almost 40 years, and retired from there in 2019. I enjoy watching all kinds of sports, especially when my grandkids are playing. I am blessed to be employed part time at Brownfield Funeral Home. The family atmosphere and the loving care they provide are just a couple of the reasons I choose to work here.
I was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. I moved to Lubbock to study at Texas Tech and have a degree in Communication Studies. My goal at Brownfield Funeral Home is to be a trusted adviser when it relates to families making plans for themselves or loved ones. This is an idea that we all very much believe in because it enables each family member to have their wishes met and burdens removed from the loved ones left behind.
